For ten years, the People’s Meeting on Bornholm has been held on Bornholm.
The festival had to be canceled in 2020 due to the outbreak of Covid-19, but in 2021 they wanted a comeback.
A new hybrid format was ensuring that the Danes across Denmark could participate. It became the biggest task for Make Sense ever.
Solution
Make Sense together with the People’s Meeting on Bornholm created an innovative solution that hasn’t been seen before in Denmark.
It required a team of 51 employees to man the seven fully equipped scenes + continuity in case of failure.
Each scene was equipped with 3 cameras, a full livestream setup and a team of dedicated technicians, videographers and editors.
Debates and events were broadcast live when they started on the stages and we broadcast live for 150 hours during the three days.
Result
The People’s Meeting on Bornholm chose to build a website where more than 120 events had an integrated video player.
All events were tied together through a common intro, graphic style and general look, which was made in collaboration with the People’s Meeting on Bornholm.
The content from the festival was stored on the the People’s Meeting on Bornholm’s website where the public debates has been viewed almost 50,000 times.
